'And I thought I loved you then': Two Years

We’ve been married two years today! For me it feels like we got married FOREVER ago. For Jeremy it feels like yesterday (I think the infertility and miscarriage hit me a little harder than it hit him—time feels like it has just dragged on for me lol!).

I love our anniversary because it means I get to go back through our wedding photos. I was so happy with the way out photos turned out. Being plus-size it’s often hard to trust your photographer, but I trusted Chance with all my heart! I went back through and chose some photos I don’t usually pick for sharing! Scroll to the bottom and you can see the gallery!

I think the best part of our marriage is that we don’t fight. Sure, we have our disagreements...but we don’t blow up at each other. There’s no need for it.  We communicate and solve problems together.

My favourite part of the last two years was watching him become a dad. He has been so good with Anderson and was even cool with changing my c-section dressings when I was about ready to pass out—yes, I’m a nurse....no, I don’t like wounds

I will be forever grateful that Jeremy stepped up after our miscarriage.  I shut down.  Jeremy was the one who had to make all the difficult phone calls.  I couldn’t do it…I’m sure it was hard on him, but he did it for me and I love him for that.

Looking back at the past two years, I can’t imagine doing it with anyone else. I am so lucky to have this supportive and loving partner and daddy to our beautiful rainbow baby!

I am so excited for what the next year has to bring us!
